Stephanie - They ended up telling me she had 30 calendar days from the upload of final docs, so I call again on Aug 10. Wells is starting to sound like BOFA when they change their story every time you call :)

Hi Stephanie- I had my last negotiator tell me I could just email her the new documents when the last buyer defaulted.

Has anyone had any luck with having an approval transferred to a new buyer quickly with WF without having to go through too much waiting? We have a buyer that we just got a contract on that already has an approval but the first buyer has disappeared. I hate being on this side of the transaction on a SS.

Wendy, How did that go. We were told in the past that they don't have "supervisors" that the negotiators answer to the investors at WF. We spoke with someone calling themselves a "marketing manager" (I think that was the term they used) but she was able to get a file reassigned for us.

Wells file with no negotiator response, even after two escalations, since July 10... now on hold waiting for rep to get supervisor:)

I guess so. Too big to fail? BAH! I say too big to function!

What a nightmare, Stephanie! Slipped through the paperwork cracks at Wells, huh?

Just got a call today from a seller who closed way back in January on their short sale. It was a VA loan with Wells. They got some "papers" from WF today and didn't understand them. So I searched the clerk of court records. WF, who filed a mortgage satisfaction/release that was recorded in February (I always verify this after the sale) has now "reopened" their foreclosure case and is once again pursuing a foreclosure on a home the sellers no longer own on a mortgage that WF released months ago. I looked at the public records and the clerk of court is now showing VA as owning the home not the new homeowner. How does this develop into such a mess?

Closing date extension.pdfStephanie, It got even crazier. When I emailed her that their addendum gives the buyer another "out", she replied- "Well they can back out until closing anyway". I did not even bother to reply after that, since she obviously did not understand contracts... The addendum is uploaded in the text box above. It is the Closing Date Extension
