Hey all, i just submitted another Wachovia short sale. Any new updates on the short sale process? I don't see too many posts here so I'm assuming they are still doing great work. I did notice however they dropped their incentives down from $5,000 to $3000?
How are you guys doing on approval? The last one i got in less than 2 weeks. This still the case?
I'm out in the Bay Area and work with a great rep..
Thanks

I am working on one now. Submitted on Dec. 2nd. It is still in review. Took them about a week to get it out of HAFA. My rep here is very responsive. I always have a reply to my emails the same day. Usually the same hour. They had offered my client a $10k incentive if they did a DIL. They extended that offer to the short sale so long as we had an offer (that would stick) prior to the expiration of the offer letter. But if this offer doesn't fly it will be $3000 for the next one.
Yeah, my last one we just had to have the seller sign a letter saying they weren't interested in the HAFA program. Still I think they are still the best or one of the best lenders for short sale approvals. I just wish all lenders would use their model, but I do understand that they are quick because they didn't sell their loans to investors.
