Does anyone have any ideas on how to escalate a file that was denied by USDA?

Serviced by Chase. Chase says investor denied due to borrower lack of hardship. Totally ridiculous.  They refused her many requests for a mod. Thanks

I am getting ready to initiate a short sale that is a USDA loan with Chase.  I see this is an old post, did you have any success???  Do you use an Chase 3rd party authorization form or is there a special one for USDA?

You can use your own 3rd party authorization. USDA is very similar to FHA PFS. I've attached the USDA PFS guidelines for you. Good luck!!

Sharon Hi,

I finally got it closed, but had to escalate it to a top person at USDA. Chase dropped the ball on this one according to USDA, and for some reason the file did not even get to them to be denied, although Chase told otherwise. USDA postponed the sale and everything went OK

Read the guidelines, I see Bryant sent them and good luck. Feel free to call or contact me and good luck.

Congrats!!!

I am needing to escalate a short sale with USDA where Chase is the servicer. My client works for Chase and was forced to relocate to another state due to the location being closed down. She is now a negative $2484 a month and Chase just came back today and declined the short sale stating USDA says there is no hardship. Who can I contact at USDA to get this escalated?
