SLS in 2nd - any reason to bother with HAFA?  will they honor it?  only hear horror stories; and worse, 1st Aurora got sold to Nationstar now in Equator who is also a nightmare with paperwork - ANYONE GET SLS TO AGREE TO HAFA $8500??? thanks!

I have a 2nd at SLS.  I was told in April that the balance of the loan is $92K and that SLS wants $3500.00 from the 1st lienholder and an additional $5700 in a prom note.  After getting the prom note executed, I proceeded to wait 2 months only to find out that SLS offered us the prom note in error and they now want $30K CASH at closing.

Anyone have any supervisor info to share?

Short and quick: Fannie Mae pays only 6%, SLS won't accept less than 10%.  2nd loan is $84k.  Have spoken to supervisor Ami McKernon who said the short sale was approved by everyone up to the VP but investor has denied the short sale 3x now.  Since Thanksgiving Ami now has not returned my phone calls or emails.  In California no add'l funds can be paid through escrow by anyone and prom notes are not allowed.  Anyone have a higher up contact or better suggestion?

SLS says they will not tell what their bpo value is over the phone, but will send a copy to the seller if the seller requests it. Then the seller calls and they say they "can't" fax it, aren't sure if they can e-mail it, and will probably have to mail it. So good news, you can get the bpo, bad news, it come on the slow boat from China.

Instead of faxing in documents, you can send them to [email protected] . They stated that their is a 5MB cap on the size of files, so this probably wouldn't work for a whole short sale package, but might be helpful for e-mailing in a letter of authorization.

Has anyone else ran into SLS requiring the seller to pay for the bpo? Specifically, they asked for the seller to agree in writting to pay $115 for the bpo if the short sale did not go through.

Does anyone know who Joe Trujillo (sp ?) is at SLS?  He is suppose to be a supervisor and I would like the correct spelling of his name.  I have been dealing with Awanda, but she has not been helpful and cannot make decisions. BOA is the 1st and willing to pay SLS $3000, but that's not acceptable to SLS.  They want $7,810, so we're trying to get this lowered or waived without it coming from our commissions!  Next step is an email to the Pres/CEO.
