I was paying for an REO software program that was costing us about $200 a month to maintain and manage our REO listings. With Short Sale Commander, I figured out a way to eliminate the REO software and incorporate our REO listings into Short Sale Commander (which costs a fraction of this expense).
The process is simple. There is a option in Short Sale Commander to assign a listing as an REO. All my listings in the system are organized by property street, street number, and city to located information quickly when you manage a large inventory. I also learned that it is a good idea to back all your information up on a Q, drive from your outlook, and then download information into Short Sale Commander when you need to document communications. The key benefit with this is that all your important information is automatically backed up on the web and Short Sale Commander will allow you to keep all your detailed communication properly organized, regardless of if you are marketing a combination of REOs, Short Sale and tradtional sellers.
I write a blog; Sarasota Short Sale Blog and receive good responce from this -- check it out.
