Yes, the last one I put in took 3 days to get the tasks and I've read here that other people have experienced the same thing.

Please be aware of Equator reps. They have not been on it. They gave me a task one time ONLY after I called 2 times and then it took a month for them to send the task I on;y received the task when I spoke to the actual mitigator. They also, alowed me 14 days to counter an offer , but decined my file on day 8. I complained and they said that particular case was not allowed 14 days. You have to be diligent.

This may be your answer as of October 1st. This was an article from my local Association website. So this could be affecting Short Sales also.

Yes! They are taking forever to assign a task? But I will say...that once the tasks are complete, things seem to be moving faster...(hope I didn't just jinx myself!)

I'm having an issue submitting my short sale task and getting an error every time. I've called and emailed equator and it's still not fixed yet.

My client just told me she can't get into the site to start her input either. they must be having problems at the moment.

I have not had any real issues with equator other than getting my supporting documents rejected and the reason is "other". Once I get past that, they are moving FAST. Rarely am I seeing any BofA files going past 60 days without getting approval, some under 30 days.

Hi! I initiated a short sale w/BOA on 10/8. Finish inputting all documents (HUD, Buyer's info, preapprove, proof of funds, etc. on 10/10. Call short sale dept on 10/13 to follow up. Per customer service person BOA will not be senting emails about process/ update of short sale. You just have to keep cking Equator every day for tasks. 10/14 I checked Equator and there was a message from BOA about obtaining an updated valuation on the property plus the name of the short sale specialist assigned to my file. 10/16 the appraiser for BOA call me to schedule a time to visit property.
10/19 appraisal done. 10/21- I call appraiser he will have it ready for bank by tomorrow. So I am not sure what is going on with your short sales. Maybe you should contact BOA short sale dept. Maybe someone forgot to push the task update botton.

Re: Equator being slow, my Seller could not get into her site and I was not getting my tasks assigned. When I called B of A, the person I spoke to said it was because the Sellers no longer lived in the house and therefore had a different mailing address. She did something about inputting their mailing address and then I got my tasks assigned. The seller had to get a new password and was then able to enter her info. If you're having trouble with a delay, maybe you have the same situation (sellers no longer live in the property).

Re: error message after submitting docs. I had this happen a while ago too. It was because I was not using IE. Equator is not compatible with all search engines.

It took two weeks to get my first task assigned and now have supporting dos rejected over and over for "other". I am now using IE and a PC and have uploaded PDFs 3X with no success. Anyone experience this and resolve it? Help appreciated, need to get this going.
