RTR is notorious for wanting 25%-30% of their UPB and they play hardball to get it. Many times when RTR is the 2nd you will run into a large gap between what the 1st will allow and what the 2nd is requesting. Depending on who the investor is with the 1st and with proper escalations at RTR it is possible to close the gap, but potentially not all the way. We have reached out to the CEO and various VP's in the past to assist us to close the gap as RTR negotiators will throw a curve ball in a short sale transaction almost every time. For assistance reach out to me at 310-564-6389, [email protected], www.ishortsalenow.com
My customer received a letter of collection from RTR today on the 2nd which was 31k. We closed one year ago. I am holding 2 approval letters (one for each loan) "we will release the lein and waive the deficiency balance is stated on both. My customer says he's been getting threatening calls for 2 weeks too. RTR was the servicer around 2011 but not during the short sale process. Only Chase handled both loans.
He just said that he would forward the request to the short sale dept.
Was he of no help?
@Wendy- I actually contacted David a while ago and he told me that he was not a short sale manager so that's the only reason why I said that.
Sara - Other companies have escalation contacts listed on our site. Have you heard of a complaint?
@Wendy- I think you should delete David Rosas because he might not like it if agents contact him, maybe?
@Paola- do you mean RTR (not RTS)? Email me at [email protected].
Hello! Does anyone have management contacts in RTS? My negotiator has given me an approval good for 9 days only and we can't go UC unless we have an approval good for 30 days since the buyer is obtaining financing. Therefore, I will need to escalate to get an approval good for 30 days. Thanks!
Sara - Should I delete all his info from the group data box?
Just thought I would update the contact info listed-- David Rosas is not a Short Sale manager.
