you are right Jeff. They freeze accounts too!

Ha, good to know, thank you. Hard to imagine a company 'sticking it' to a twenty five year service member who's had an account with them longer than I've been alive, but who knows. We'll see what they do when I resubmit the package.

Be prepared, when I think of how bad Chase is, Navy Federal is worse

Janie - my file with them is in first position, only one mortgage. Client bought just two years ago, upside down over hundred thousand, unfortunately. I have also been prepared for the worst, since they appear to be their own investor. I'd been told they freeze accounts at random as well, thankfully that hasn't happened yet. Only communication I have from them so far is a blocked number call from a 'Mandy', asking me to resubmit my package with their forms. I'm thinking of printing out their logo, pasting it on the top of every page of my already completed identical paperwork, and sending that in...but that probably won't go over well, haha.

Hi, Adam! Thank you for starting this group! I have two I'm working now, but still in the early stages. Both are in second position. Is yours a first or second? For the one I submitted on 7/2/2010 in second position, I just received a call from Navy Fed asking for updated pay stubs & bank statements. When I made my initials calls to Navy Fed, two different people told me that they do not negotiate and to prepare my clients...so we shall see. Maybe we'll hear from someone out there that has had experience getting theirs approved and closed.
