Does anyone have a MetLife Arm's Length affidavit form?  I received approval almost 2 weeks ago and the negotiator said he would send me one but I'm still waiting.

I have Corie Pyburn on one of my files I dont like her as much because not once has she replied to my emails or calls. I've been trying to talk to her since 6/29.  I do not have her direct extension though, could you share please? I have her email if you dont have it.

My Metlife loan was a conventional.  Yes, they transfer you but once you have a negotiator / underwriter assigned you should have that person's extension. I got Fannie Mae involved to assist as the lender is supposed to respond to an offer in 30 days max. and they had not.  I even had the reps.(in SS dept.) assisting when they discovered that my negotiator hadn't responded to various issues and they escalated.

Great tips!  Thanks!  I have a fantastic negotiator.  Corey Pyburn.  This issue I am having is that my client has tried to keep up her payments and we have an offer that meets the investor guidelines(Fannie Mae), but they won't submit it until she is behind 30 days.

I have found some tips I would like to share with my fellow superstars.

Ask to speak with Danny Chambers he is a supervisor and is great. I've never been able to get his direct line unfortunately but he has been quite helpful in my short sale process that begun 3/13/12. I now finally have an underwriter.

Another helpful tip - far as I am aware.. all MetLife loans are FHA or VA. What I ended up doing was finding an email address and emailing HUD regarding the issues and mishandling of my file by MetLife - [email protected] you need to reference the FHA case number (in order to get the FHA case number you just need to call into MetLife customer service and ask for it). After I sent an email to HUD I got a response back with a reference number stating I would be contacted shortly. If you want to speak to a person instead of email the number is 877-622-8525 you will still need to provide the FHA case number, without it they cannot look up your loan.

What they do, is they get involved and make sure MetLife is moving your file forward as they are suppose to. Someone to hold MetLife accountable. Soon as I told MetLife that I have contacted HUD investigations, I had an underwriter almost over night. Hope this helps.
