Just made an offer on a ss that was Citi, after Citi issued approval, Citi told LA that loan was now sold to Litton. Any idea how long it will be now?

Lori, many many times the setup people will work the file and submit what they believe fits within the guidelines only to find out that the investor wants more money. I have always thought Litton to be easy to deal with HOWEVER they are really just doing their job trying to get as much as they can. Stick with it and try not to get frustrated. Escalate the file if needed. I can tell you that Larry Litton Jr's emails do not go unanswered and they Litton has people that read these types of blogs. Good luck

WARNING!! Just finished up with C*** my negotiator. Well not true, C*** who identified herself as a negotiator really was "only setting up the file". She agreed to the deal, emailed various emails on value, "good to go" and what day can the buyer close. Same regular stuff we discuss with negotiators. She emails me stating "she sent to investor for approval. In pops Mr. W*** who counters the deal 14K. WHAT? Yes this just occured. Seller is pissed, buyers agent who was cc'ed on all emails is pissed. Well, I emailed C*** who is out of town for two weeks. This new guy is basically trying to strong arm the buyers for additional monies. Next email, supervisor.....to be continued. SHARK BUSINESS. BEWARE.

Jim, i had tried that number, but it just tells you that you have inputed the number wrong and dosnt even ask for an ext......

Jeremy,
I had the exact same problem. Try this: 800-247-9727 x7746. that should get you through the short sale dept. if you don't have the extension you'll wind up just getting hung up on by their phone system.
