I called the # you give above for HSBC and it was a company that handles the loans that were passed over to them from HSBC. They didn't have my loan on file there but I was able to get through by calling 800-365-6730 ext 44412.

Closed one today with HSBC as the second. My negotiator was Carol Benforado and the process was very quick and smooth!

HSBC asked me to do a BPO. I sent them one with part of the labeling saying Comparative Market Analysis. The guy from India says it is not a BPO. I told him it is the same thing, I can re-label it! He argues with me and says it looks like a CMA. So I am putting it in another format and re-labeling it. Don't you love it!

Great, and thanks once again...

John, I have had good success. The only odd thing was a mysterious file they could not find once. It was a junior lien. HSBC has two types of "charge offs" for their loans. One charge off type is harder for them to track down. SO if you ever get a junior lien that says HSBC in public records, and they deny they have it, let me know. I have a resource.

John - I've found HSBC a bit unusual, even though they are a huge company... They are qicker than normal!

I just got a listing last night - both 1st & 2nd with HSBC - both cash out.

We called today to find out where to submit package, etc...and they said they are going to go ahead an order an Interior BPO...even without an offer.

Is this bazaar or what?
