I have a property that is serviced by Nationstar but the investor is First Horizon. We recieved approval just before Labor Day on a $750,000 short sale. They only gave us 30 days to close this jumbo loan and we have been requesting a 5 day extension. Nationstar says they will not request the extension from the investor. Now we have a problem appraisal....the buyer's appraisal came in at $700,000 and we need to revisit the price. Nationstar says they could have an answer in a week but still will not change the closing date. With disclosure and underwriting there is no way we can close now. I really need a contact person at First Horizon to call about escalating this file. Please help.
