I'm having a heck of a time with getting an approval on a 2nd with DTA; they were the servicer when the loan was with Aurora, and when Aurora went under they stopped cooperating and won't tell us the investor.

We have an approved 1st mortgage payoff with $6,000 going to DTA on an $83,000 deal and DTA is countering to just under $7,000; they won't accept less.  I'd like to escalate this to the investor and try to get this deal closed.  Any suggestions for determining the investor?  How about contact info for a higher-up at DTA?

Hi Ralph. Did you have any luck with DTA? I have them for a 2nd lien trying to do a HAFA short sale and they are telling me they won't do HAFA. Any help would be appreciated

I am desperately trying to obtain a time sensitive written approval for a 2nd loan under DTA.  Does anyone know a VP at this organization to help expedite?
