Does anyone know if Capitol One will allow a short sale and loan mod can be processed simultaneously?

have the loan number ready--reps are assigned based on digits
Listing agreement and sales contract are acceptable as 3rd party authorization.
2nd will be offered no more than 10%.

I just downloaded the Capital One SS Application from this website. I seems as though it is for Loan mods. Do we use the same packet for short sales? Hope Capital One is a friendly as they appear.

Hi Keji...and fellow SSS's,

I also had a HUGE pleasant surprise when an asset manager from Capital One CONTACTED ME (!) after reading my post that I could not get through to anyone about starting a short sale. Over the phone this manager assigned me a negotiator and told me how to get started right away--establishing their valuwoe--even before we get an offer. HOW COOL IS THAT!?? Yeah for Capital One and SHORT SALE SUPERSTARS...the banks are now coming to US!! Huge paradigm shift! This has turned my dread into adrenaline...wow!

Here is a new one for me & Kudos to Capital One.
I called Capital One to get the fax number to send short sale package to earlier today. I called from my office phone, and I did not provide any contact information, by this afternoon I got a voice message from someone at Capital One. The person left a message for me to call so I can get the direction on how to package the short sale for quick process. My first reaction to this voice mail was that of disbelief, thinking it must be a mistake, but I called the phone number left on the voice message. When I spoke with the guy he informed me that he will be handling the short sale and I should send the package to him via email. He got my email and immediately sends me an email so I can have his contact information. I'm thinking is this for real.. I have not even send any document to them... This is my first short sale with capital one and so is quite interesting to get this kind reception..
Kudos to Capital One...

Anyone has information about Capital One/Chase short sale-.. Telephone, Fax?
