We do not seem to have a discussion started for Bayview- just comments. I have a file that was close to approval in Equator with BOA and it was transferred to Bayview. There it sits!  When I did get to speak to someone they were always as nice as can be- but nothing is getting done. They tell me they are swamped- hire help!

It seems we have the same negotiator, Kathleen.  What bank buys huge amounts of distressed loans and then allows extended vacations for what I believe might be their ONLY negotiator.  I have called, emailed, everything.  Nothing.  I've been hearing they are swampped for two months.  And, to top it off, my client just got the "Letter" from the trustee advising him of his foreclosure avoidance options.  So, while Bayview can't respond to me with an offer over market value sitting on the table, they have time to refer the file to the Trustee to start the FC process.  But with that said, this file should have been referred to the trustee months ago, so at least they're behind on everything!

Our file has been sitting for 2 months (albeit only about 3 weeks with Bayview). It is impossible to reach anyone. Seller/buyer are freaking out, and there is nothing we can do right now. If I get a return call I am going to try my best for a management contact of some sorts. If anyone hears of anything, let us know.

I'd had one Bayview client.  They were so unwilling to engage that we ended up dropping the listing.

Kathleen,

I called Bayview again and spoke to someone willing to help????  She emailed me a detailed list of what Bayview requires and told me that if I submit a package that meets their specifications it would go very quickly.  There are a couple of quirky things on the list and everything has to be less than 30 days old.  If you still need help and want to try resubmitting, contact me and I'll send you a copy of the email.

Hi Kathleen:

Just wondering the result of your dealings with Bayview.  Mine was finally completed, but not without valuation disputes and escalations galore.  I did speak to another agent in my office who had a smooth transaction recently.  I'm hoping that our persistence has helped others get Bayview's processes in place so other agents don't experience the same.  Look forward to hearing your outcome (and anyone else who wishes to chime in).

Thanks!

Marti

Bayview's

Their staff is incompetent. I just closed a short sale with them that we initiated back in January. It took 20 phone calls before they finally reviewed the file in May (5 months later). I have another short sale that we have an acceptance and we have been waiting for 3 weeks for the acceptance letter.. Meanwhile the buyer and seller can’t do anything?  They need more staff…..
