Sounds like they may have re-assigned to a new negotiator and you've fallen through the infamous BofA cracks! Are you using Equator? If so, start emailing up the chain of command. If not, then just call & fax every 30-60 mins. That ALWAYS gets their attention! :)

Thanks Jeff, I had heard that it was not good ettiqutette to go straight to the top, but that is what i just did, actually before i read your response. I will see!! Thanks for confirmation i did the right thing.

Shelly, what you mentioned is what happened for the first 8 months, but for the last 4, i have had contact with a negotiator, actually 2. The last one is just being a road block. This sale was started way before Equator.

I have been on Equator now for 1 month. No assigned task. Can't speak to a negotiator. Have tried everything...that I have thought of. I have an accepted offer, the first has agreed to short sale hud and has alloted money to the second. All docs are ready and waiting at escrow. BUT...no response from 2nd for over a month! Can anyone help? I see where one person said fax...there is no place to fax.

Forget about actually talking to the negotiator. You will only get VM and they will not call you back.

Will they take a $2000 promissory note?

The number I have as a direct call is 805-520-5258. I cannot remember the gentleman's name off the top of my head right now, but since getting in touch with him I seem to finally be getting some action (and I'm the buyer). He won't communicate directly with me since I'm the buyer, but he's been in touch with the broker regarding the actions and there has been someone assigned to close this deal expeditiously (these were the words BOA used). I've been dealing with this since July 2009, and I've given them until this Friday to come to some resolution.
