Equator and traditional method

Guys,
Do you have any good experience with Equator? PROS and CONS?

The reason that I'm asking you this is becuase I had an approval that I took less than 6 weeks, the investor is Fannie MAe and I got a writing approval by email, so when I called again the buyer's agent and the buyer did not want the house anymore for the waiting, they knew ahead that a short sale takes time, but anyway I got a second buyer and offer on my listing.

This second offer that I submitted at mids of november 2009 and BOA crew had not assigned me my file again with a new negotiator.

Does it speed up the process if I sign up through Equator.com and re-submit my complete short sale package from the 2nd offer? or they start from scratch?

How related is equator.com through the traditional method to call to the short sale deparment?

Any suggestions? I'm afraid to waste more time signing me up through equator.com

Permalink Reply by Pam Patterson on February 4, 2010 at 8:02pm: Bofa is now putting most all new short sales in the equator system, except FHA backed ones...I think those are the only exceptions. so you may not have a choice...they've also told me the ones in the old system are not being worked on...ugh...give them a call to discuss it...Good luck!; ▶ Reply to This
