Anybody know of an ombudsman within Bank of America?
BoA is the 2nd and is holding up closing. My buyer wants to close before the holiday and we accepted the BoA counter 2 weeks ago in Equator to get the standard $6000. The negotiator is pleasant enough but keeps giving me "lip service" as to when we'll get the approval letter. First it was supposed to be last Friday, then yesterday and now I'm being told next Monday!!!! Seems to me if we accepted their counter offer terms 2 weeks ago we should have an approval letter by now.
Anybody know where I can get results? The escalation department is useless and it seems this negotiator has no supervisor because the extension given sends you off into dead space!

I had similar issue with BOA, had to get HUD involved. If it is FHA, I would call HUD to get involved to help move things along. Becasue mine was supposedly escalated about 10 times with no results at all. I called HUD, and 2 days later, we are on track.

Why do you say the Escalation Dept is useless? Did you try tweeting them? You need to go thru either one if you want assistance. Try emailing the President/Chairman and someone from his office will call you within about 24 hours. You will have to explain to that person that you have tried going thru the proper channels - the Escalation Dept -- without success so you were hoping a member of the President's Escalation team could help. I called the Escalation Dept last week and the only thing the rep is doing is following the file in Equator and telling me what the negotiator has already said. I don't use twitter. Can you give me the president/chairman's email address?
