Thom - thank you.  That's the number my Aurora rep was at, too, but it was shut down sometime last week.  I called Nationstar Tuesday (866-312-2432) and the man I spoke to said they didn't yet have the Aurora files in their system but would have by tomorrow, Thursday, July 5, so I'll be calling tomorrow.

Thank you also, Sharona and Enrique.  I've also contacted HAMP.  Haven't heard back yet.

Love this site!

My seller had a 1st with Aurora and a 2nd with Real Time Solutions, and as soon as Aurora transferred the loan to Nationstar, they (Nationstar) sent her a foreclosure sale date of Sept 2. We just received a cash offer and she is afraid of the timing with these two servicers and now wants to do a DIL. I haven't worked with either one of these servicers before and wondered if she should just do what she wants-a DIL.

Karyl - After I sent the Authorization to Fax # 469-549-2455, I was called by "Heather" a negotiator assigned to the file - Her # is 866-519-9242 and working hours are 11AM - 9PM EDT.

REGARDING escalating via HMPAMIN https://www.hmpadmin.com/portal/resources/counseling.jsp#3, here is some good avise:

  • Make sure you send the CASE SUBMISSION FORM AND MHA 3rd party authorization when you are starting a new case.
  • If you didnt use the case submission form because your email contained all the loan/servicer info, Make sure you send the MHA 3rd party Authorization .

Without it, they will not approach the servicer!!! Both forms are available on that link.

Good luck!

Sharona: Thank you so much!!!! I will try that right away!

Karyl - contact the HAMP escalation team. Go to www.hmpadmin.com, click on "Resources" then on "Trusted Advisors". Depending on your loan, you will call/email the escalation team at different places.  They are dealing with a bunch of Aurora loans right now, given the transition. The more of us that call, the higher priority we will get.  I have one Aurora case escalated to them right now.

Thom Colby - what happened with your Aurora loan with a sale date of June 28?  I have one with a sale date of July 9 and i can't reach anyone at Aurora or NationStar.  Seller hasn't received his letter yet.
