Anyone get a waiver of deficiency with American General junior lien? If so, what did it take?

Hello All, I am doing a short-sale and BOA has the 1st, American General has the 2ndMortgage. American General is requsting 50% of a $28,000 Balance to get a release. I am in the very begininng process of the short-sale and i am trying get this Negotiated upfront. On the initial HUD from the title company in equator I requested $1,500 go to the 2nd Mortgage. The Branch Manager level of American General is stating that he is not releasing it, How do i go above his authority level, is their a corporate office. Anyone who has successfully got a 2nd with American general Released or approve, Please advise with any suggestions. I welcome all strategies

OH NO! I just took an American General shortsale listing! The other agent will probably withdraw the offer when they realize their commission would be about 250 bux after the split and the broker split. I wouldn't have taken the listing at all cuz it's a mobile but it was a referral.
