Approval Letter Required from theSecond Lender before AHMSI will review

I have done other short sale transactions with AHMSI, however, I submitted one recently and was told by the negotiator that I had to have a approval letter from the second lender before they will review their file.

Is this new?

I am about to begin a AHMSI with a 2nd... Did you ever find out if this is the case regarding 2nd approval first??
