Is on top of things ready to move forward on the 2nd loan and the 1st negotiator, from the same bank does not return phone calls, emails and 4 weeks into after receiving BPO does email and states they have not recvd listing agreement, purchase offer and a few other things...WHHHAAATTTT?
Here the 2nd negotiator has commended more than once how the short sale package was put together, pages numbered with table of contents so she could go right to what she needed......Interesting same package was sent to the 1st with the 1st loan #.........I kept scratchin my head as to how a BPO was ordered on the first loan and how customer service told me everything came thru and nothing more was needed and how a negotiator was assigned without complete package....
What has been interesting is I get to go thru the 2nd negotiator to find out what is happening with the 1st negotiator.....life is grand........

Terry - What bank? I would find this scenario common at several banks.
This has not been common to me. I usually have had to interact with both the 1st and 2nd , even if same bank, for negotiations. Typically I would still get responses from both negotiators and/or updates.
Terry...."table of contents" ....wow, you're good and I thought my packages were good.

It seems that most short sales where 1st and 2nd's are involved that they never seem to be on the same time table. I just submitted a short sale package and on the very next day I received an email from the 2nd indicating that they received the package and wanted to know the position of the 1st's approval. Talk about record time fo receiving a response!!
Both 1st and 2nd loans should be assigned to the same negotiator. They should know this.......Request it, to make your life easier.
Depends if any investors involved and type of loan from what I have been told. But definitely have been given different phone numbers and faxes and insistence each package go to where indicated. However would really be nice if they would.
Perhaps I can get the 2nd negotiator to take over for the 1st since she has been so responsive......Certainly would not hurt to try....

I have had this happen a couple of times with various banks and both insisted separate negotiator.
