Well this is new...the buyer on my short sale listing asked for repairs from Wells Fargo and I sent it in thinking NO WAY. Well, surprise, Wells accepted the lower offer amount within 3 days. Wells has been so amazing lately, I feel like I'm dreaming. You hear that BofA?????

Did the buyer reduce the offer price to cover the cost of repairs? Is this what WF approved? I'm trying to get them to approve $1,200 to treat the well water. ANy suggestions welcomed. Lillie

Yes Lillie the offer price was reduced by $2600. Just sent the home inspection in with bids and got a new approval letter quickly. I did NOT ask if it was okay, I just sent it to the negotiator ad te investor approved it.
That's awesome. I got the same thing recently on a BOA deal, however our state had some strict requirements for closing so we couldn't close without the repairs. I LIKE when they work like that.
