I initiated a short sale April 2015 when I first listed a property and have continually updated the information with income, bank statements, tax returns since then.  Received an offer November 4th and once I had all my ducks in a row submitted with as much completed paperwork as I could gather.  Since then it has been a wait, wait, wait, new negotiators, no ATP just requests for documents that have been submitted already, etc.  Buyer has hung on and watched the market price him out now.  Last communication was with negotiator on May 5th stating she was submitting a variance to HUD and to ".  allow upto 3 days for a response".  Today is May 17th and I have no response and cannot get any reply to my emails or voice messages to the negotiator or her supervisor.

The number on this site for escalation takes me to the general mortgage division and an impossible wait.

I understand Randy Saffel was a miracle worker, does anyone have a suggestion or a number for his replacement?

I went through the same nightmare on my short sale request.  They made me wait ten months, would ask for one document at a time, told me they were going to do an appraisal finally a couple of weeks ago, and then just rejected my request.  I am fighting it through the wells escalation team but I have little hope.  I suspect the people in the processing groups policy is to string people along as much as possible to maximize the amount of money they can get out of people before they default.
