Waiting on PNC

Hi All!

So I'm trying to purchase a home…short sale through PNC bank. The owner accepted the bid on September 7. The bank sent out an appraiser 2 weeks ago. Still haven't heard anything. Any advice on how to move this along would GREATLY appreciated. Can I call the bank? Is that unethical? Should I let it go and just wait? Your thoughts and/or comments are all welcome!!
