I have been working a short sale for several months and have been told that although we have an offer at an accepted price, the investor will not postpone the trustee sale because the account has been past due for too many months.  Is there any avenue left for postponing the trustee sale?  I have spoken with the negotiator, her supervisor, and the supervisor called the investor herself and asked again but they would not agree to postpone.  Thank you!

You need to go way higher that the supervisor.  Don't stop until you get a yes.

Hi Cate...

You can read my blog post about how I was able to postpone the sale date by contacting the investor for a Chase Short Sale that I recently received an approval on. Hope it helps...
