I just created an account yesterday for a short sale listing of mine that requires me to go through Equator. I have an offer and don't see how I get started. Is there a tutorial? The support FAQ's don't seem to address what I'm looking for. Can someone help me get started?

Thank you,

Laurie Matthias

I assume you have the loan number.. Login to equator and click on initiate Short sale , it will ask you which lender.. pick the one applicable to you, provide information needed and click submit.....

Keji,

Thanks so much. I must've overlooked that tab.

Now, they're asking for a 10 digit loan # and according to Nationstar, there # is only 9. Sheesh! Another call... :)

Thanks again!

Laurie

Try adding a zero at the beginning

I think these are the most current guidelines.  this should help.

Thank you all for such quick response. I was finally able to initiate the short sale and now they are going to 'get back to me shortly'.

I really appreciate everyone's help, thanks again!

Looking through this guide, it appears to be a different version. While I see the ability to use the previous version, should I, even though that's not what is on my screen?

Well, I initiated the short sale and got a auto reply that said they'd be in touch shortly. That was two days ago. What do I do now?

Call the lender back. That's normally an internal task that they are not responding to:(

Attached are the Nationstar Equator Agent Guidelines

Hi Laurie,  do you have an offer yet, and did you get a HUD from Escrow? You will ned the HUD info to input into Equator as well, Camille
