Anyone know of a "back door" contact at Metlife?  A good One?  One that actually will give you straight answers when it comes to confirming receipt of docs and will not put you on eternal hold or disconnect you?  

I have been trying to confirm receipt of documents for over two weeks on a file even after sending the same information to them via two different fax numbers numerous times this month.  I know part of the problem lies in the timeliness of the information being uploaded and the accounts not being notated with updated notes.

Jen, I don't have one, but the last Metlife SS we did was a nightmare.  I hope someone posts back for you.  They are worse than Suntrust and I used to think Suntrust was the worst.

Best thing that can happen on a met life short sale is that they transfer servicing to Nation Star during the process. I have heard nothing but nightmares with met life, and the two files I have worked with them, started off as nightmare black hole files until they were transferred to Nation Star, then clear sailing from there. The first file I had with them was round and round for two months, then I was notified that file was transferred to Nation Star and I would have to submit new file, I was livid, until I realized what a blessing that was.

Not sure if it was chance that both of my files were transferred or if there is some sort of internal handoff, but pop the cork if it happens. I have one comming up, so I will find out soon enought.

MetLife does not do shortsales.  They will delay and stall, but it's rare that they close unless it gets sold off.  metLife is on my banned list.

Hello All

 

Help, I am having a nightmare of a time dealing with Metlife. They closed my file after I sent over the required documentation. I have proof that we sent a full package over. When I finally was able to reach someone and told them the dates and time and proof of documents, they are now trying to re-open the file. Does anyone have a go to person at Metlife that I can reach out to? Their service and failure to communicate have been awful!!!!
