I was able to acheive an extension through Freddie Mac directly after the investor denied it. Since then my file has been with a "processor" who has not worked the file up until now and the investor has denied anymore extensions. This processor has had the file for over 3 weeks and seems to have done nothing with it.This processor has ignored every attempt I have made to communicate and I only get a response when I complain with her manager. I sent the complete file and an email to Freddie Mac to see if I can skip this department and present it to the investor directly. Anyone have success in doing the same?? I'm despareate to get an answer since I have until May 25th and it goes to sale.

An agent told me he would  fax all his documents a couple times a day.  He said this had everyone asking "What's this all about".  I think they called to help him, so he would stop sending the faxes. He seems to have good results.  Good Luck
Judith, Freddie Mac is the investor on this loan apparently and whomever the processor works for is just the servicer.  Freddie Mac can intervene and make the servicer start to work the file in earnest (e.g., get it reassigned to a competent processor/negotiator) if they so choose but they can't/won't work the file directly.  They aren't set up to do that.

I have complained to the HUD Short Sale offices.  Seems to get the negotiators on their toes.  Matter-a-fact HUD gaqve me someone named M.Paxton at Metlifes offices.  After 9 weeks of being stonewalled, I have had 3 calls in a week from my negotiator and a request not to get hold of M paxton again.  Sale is moving forward.  Thanks HUD!

Hi, Any Short Sale I have had a problem with has been a Freddie Mac! I actually called them yesterday with a Short Sale problem myself and was advised to go to their website to file a complaint. This will generate an investigation. I was told that Freddie Mac will provide an extension during this process. When you say a processor are you saying that you have someone else doing your negotiation or the negotiator with the bank? I was told by Freddie Mac and the Negotiator that they will not release the name or contact info to the Investor, however, when the file is declined by Freddie Mac, they do send the Servicer the decline in writing. I am in a similar situation. I am emailing the negotiator for the Investor a demand letter for a Copy of the decline letter. Not sure where its going to go. [email protected] (corporate relations). I hope this helps, Gail

Can I get the contact info for the HUD short sale offices? I have an FHA file I might have to take this action in order to close. Thank you....
