Does anyone know of any issues with an IndyMac SS when the property is vacant (not rented)?  The property has only a first with them.  Thank you.

Mike,

Do you have specific concerns or is this just a general question?

General question.  The sellers moved out (being proactive in taking care of their family housing needs) and I'm getting ready to submit the ss package.

I don't know what state you are in and if there are regulations for accelerated foreclosures/redemption but I usually hedge my bet with the banks and tell them that I am not aware of or at liberty to disclose (depending on the situation) the vacancy status of the property.  They will likely check the status of the property themselves but why make it that easy for them to accelerate?

Thank you for the insight, I appreciate it.
Well said Cameron.  I have been telling them too quickly..
I closed one in March and am closing another IMB next week that were both vacant. One was a rental, the other a former primary residence. One was handled by Service link, the other by IMB direct. Neither was a problem.
