Has anyone done a short sale with Vericrest?

I have a prime candidate for a short sale and Vericrest has just informed us simply that they will do no short sales. Has anyone run in to this mentality and is there anyway to escalate this. Their web page suggests short sales as a way to help the distressed homeowner.

I would appreciate any input.
