thanks for this - picked it up on the forum message that came out and not my regular email - I guess I need to find out why I miss some messages posted.

I did get on the webinar - figured it was another "Oooo, FNMA is swell and we love you" fest.  It wasn't.  The interviewer posed some pointed and accurate questions.  Of course, you can't expect much for progress or help, unless you just started short sales yesterday.  At least I felt better to hear some of the questions.  But then I think I have tried to talk to FNMA 5 or fewer times with horrendous results - from, "no, I won't look up the file" to repeatedly sending in an authorization rejected for no reason to (believe it or not) the FNMA rep telling me that it is the bank's money (and I corrected him telling him that he is the investor -- oh, wait, is that a donut calling... gotta go...).  So, at least I got to hear that some of what I run into was voiced - although actually, no comment was made about the lax attitude that FNMA has shown me. [well, the interviewer DID say that the servicer issues need better policing and that FNMA has a responsibility there - he was polite - didn't say that they are sitting on their butts screwing up deals right and left while the likes of BOA, etc does as it pleases - so, it WAS mentioned...]

Hi Joe,

 

I'm glad to hear you were able to participate on the call.  So sorry you had a bad experience with your Fannie Mae short sale (?).  Do you have access to the Short Sale Assistance Desk?  Which MLS do you belong to?  Hopefully, we can be helpful in the future.
