I would be very careful with ANY company that claims you will get certain leads with their certification.

I am Five Star certified. I love DS News and love the company they have built and the events they have. However I have not received any leads from Fannie/Freddie nor did I expect to. I simply wanted to get more insight on the course and help support NAHREP which I'm a member and they offered a 3 day weekend with certification all together.

I hate how these companies promise so much to agents and never deliver. No guarantees, just vague promises that they don't have to deliver.

Seriously, the best way to make money in real estate is to sell stuff to agents. We are complete optimists!!

Mark,

If you are talking about the class being held in Dallas for $299.00, that is the REO certification only! Not the BPO or short sale, etc.

You are correct.  They cancelled the short sale class.  It is available online now.

  I did it when they first released it. Never got a thing but more emails about selling me more stuff.
